About Our Client

Our partner is an American company leader in their industry.
The company designs and manufactures a variety of highly engineered valves, pipes and pumps for industrial application (chemical, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, oil & gas etc.)

Job Description

Liaise with the Site Manager to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals
To get all employees on-board / People Management (+/- 20 FTE)
Deploying the group strategy at the operational level
To be the guarantor of the operational execution at production and warehouse level
Plan and monitor the day-to-day activity at the operational level
Supervise & manage staff from different departments : Production, warehouse and distribution (transport management is outsourced).
Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements
Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors
Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations
Focus on Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence
Quality & Security oriented.

The Successful Applicant

Master Degree or equivalent in an engineering or technical subject
7+ years of professional experiences in an industrial environment or in a warehouse / distribution center.
Operations Management experience
Strong organization Skills;
Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal and Written;
Problem-Solving Skills;
Action Planning, and Prioritization Skills;
Knowledge of Safety, Quality, and Cost Objectives;
Fluency (orally and written) in English and French
Dutch and German is an asset
