Our Operations Team is looking for a hands-on, passionate mechanical engineer who is fascinated by assembly processes!

Your responsibilities:

As an Operations Engineer, your focus is on the assembly of our prototype motors and the daily operations in the pilot line. You’ll work closely with the Prototype Technicians, the Mechanical Engineers, the R&D team and external equipment suppliers.

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pilot line ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
  • Design tooling to assemble prototypes.
  • Become an expert in one or two sub-processes e.g. laser welding, adhesive dispensing, calibration…
  • Troubleshoot and solve assembly process and equipment issues.
  • Follow up assembly process and reproducibility.
  • Closed loop communication with manufacturing engineers, technicians and the R&D team to improve manufacturing process.
  • Support and participate in continuous improvement activities.

Who we are looking for?

  • Mechanical/Industrial engineering is preferred.
  • Over two years of hands-on experience.
  • Experience with 3D printing is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, reliable and adaptable to change.
  • Team player.
  • Able to prioritize workload, troubleshoot and think about solutions.
  • Systematic and data-driven approach to assembly problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Any experience with assembly or manufacturing processes is a plus.
  • Any knowledge or experience of lean manufacturing processes is a plus.
