Description

We are seeking a skilled Strategic Procurement Capital Contracted Specialist to lead initiatives that maximize value while minimizing risks related to capital activities.

  • You lead capital sourcing projects, optimizing procurement activities across Engineering, construction, and capital services.
  • You manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring accountability for their performance and deliverables.
  • You conduct competitive bidding and negotiations to achieve significant cost savings.
  • You analyze market trends to identify potential opportunities and risks relating to your categories.
  • You develop and enhance procurement relations with internal customers to drive continuous improvement.
  • You collaborate with the Global Category Strategy Manager to develop and implement category strategies.
  • You participate actively in cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of procurement strategies.
Your profile

  • You hold an Economic university degree or bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of capital procurement experience.
  • You possess an Engineering background or relevant degree, which is highly beneficial.
  • You have strong negotiation skills and a commercial acumen.
  • You are an excellent communicator and capable networker.
  • You demonstrate considerable stress resistance and problem-solving capabilities.
  • You are knowledgeable in contract management and legal aspects.
  • You can work independently while effectively contributing to team goals.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English (oral and written).
  • You have experience with SAP/Ariba (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Experience in a GMP environment is a plus.
