Our Enterprise business unit is leading the way to let people collaborate better together, by ensuring engaging experiences. From boardroom or meeting room to classroom. To support our Clickshare business unit providing solutions for hybrid working and collaboration, we are looking for aProduct Specialist - Competitive Intelligence.

Responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for following market and technology trends in the fast moving market of hybrid working and digital workplaces
  • You gather competitive intelligence and perform competitive product analysis.
  • You perform 360-degrees hands-on technical evaluation of products from competitors and partners: TCO, Quality, ease-of-use, Security, future-proofness,…
  • You deliver conclusions of work as internal kits for sales & partner enablement
  • You collaborate with product management and marketing teams to assure right positioning of Barco’s products vs. competition and clarify scenario for optimal integration with partner products.
  • You collaborate with our R&D and IPR teams to identify infringement of Barco’s patent portfolio

Your profile:

  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Engineering or IT)
  • You have a strong interest in the competitive landscape of ‘hybrid meeting technology’
  • You have a strong technical skill-set in analysing embedded products, with respect to security, usability, manageability,...
  • You have experience in IT/Facility to operating large fleet enterprise HW infrastructure is a plus
  • You have experience with Intellectual Property Rights and Patents is a plus
  • You have IT Management Experience and knowledge of Microsoft/Zoom enterprise collaboration SW is a plus
