Overview

Damovo Belgium has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Director (m/f/d) with proven industry experience to develop and deliver the strategy for growth in margin and revenues from both private and public sector Unified Communications and Managed Services markets. This role will lead and optimize the structure and performance of the Sales team, whilst strategically contributing to a high-performing Management team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate and develop the Belgian sales team.
  • Coach the sales team in customer development and acquisition of new customers.
  • Meet and exceed agreed quarterly and annual margin and order intake targets.
  • Maintain a sufficient pipeline throughout the fiscal year and ensure accuracy of forecasting.
  • Create, maintain and execute strategic account and opportunity plans to ensure structured development and an organised approach.
  • Manage the full sales cycle spectrum; from need creation to business justification, bid creation to solution presentation and finally, negotiation and closure.
  • Support customers at C-level and drive expansion of existing and new C-level contacts.
  • Manage the integration of the sales team from a recent acquisition.
  • Develop, refine and prioritise service and sales value propositions based on customer insight and feedback.
  • Work with the Marketing function to drive brand awareness and lead generation activities in line with sales strategy.
  • Forge successful relationships with key stakeholders, external partner/service organisations, customers and market opinion leaders.
  • Ensure the financial integrity of every deal and that all deals are negotiated within the margin, billing and payment terms as stipulated in the DAR’s.
What we are looking for
  • Proven leadership experience, providing strategic direction and support to get the best results from the team.
  • Proven sales experience with an in-depth understanding of the Communication/IT Services sector in Belgium.
  • Proven track record of creating, managing, negotiating, and closing substantial ICT contracts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Commercially aware with a naturally inquisitive streak with the ability to overcome obstacles and simplify complexity.
  • Demonstrate dedication, drive and ambition with an ability to work comfortably in a dynamic environment.
  • Degree standard or demonstration of entrepreneurial qualities.
  • Languages required Dutch, French and English.
