Functieomschrijving We are looking for an Sales Manager experimented in business development and in technical field as electro – mechanics or automotive industry.

Your job as Sales Manager is about specifying and implementing effective sales and business-development initiatives in line with the local and global strategy.

Your Responsibilities Are
  • You will drive the sales performance of the society’s product portfolio in Belgium and Luxembourg and carry out the sales strategy defined by the management, of which you are part.
  • You are part of decision maker team for the annual sales budget.
  • Reporting to the managing director, you will lead and coach the local external sales team to meet ambitious targets and exceed customer expectations.
  • You have an own customer-portfolio where you need to establish a strong customer relationship.
  • You have regular contacts with the manufacturing plants of the company throughout the world.
  • You prepare and analyse KPI’s (sales figures per product line, quotation follow-up, etc.) and besides quantitative analyses you also manage qualitative analyses of your team (visit reports, agenda, etc.)
  • You organize monthly sales meetings with inside and outside sales teams.
  • You will be an ambassador of visiting customers and promoting the brand and products.
  • You have an own customer-portfolio where you need to establish a strong customer relationship.
  • You have regular contacts with the manufacturing plants of the company throughout the world.
  • You organize customer events in collaboration with our marketing-coordinator.
Profiel
  • You have a master in business and/or technical studies such as electro-mechanics or relevant experience.
  • You have relevant experience of min. 5 years in business development, sales and account management and cross-selling.
  • You are independent and enthusiast, but also a team player who can communicate easily with your contact persons and colleagues.
  • You have an analytical, creative and commercial mindset and you care for details.
  • You are prepared to work with short term tasks and change of priorities to achieve the best results.
  • You are either French or Dutch native speaker with deep knowledge of Dutch, French and English (written and spoken).
  • MS Office knowledge is requested.
  • Experience in electric motors, gear motors or variable speed drive sales is seen as an advantage.
