We redefine what an earplug should sound, look and feel like. Whether it’s hearing protection or comfort for your ears, Loop enables you to live life at your volume. Our founders Maarten and Dimitri started Loop back with a big idea. And a chronic ringing in their ears. Since then, we’ve helped more than 3,500,000 customers around the world to find quiet, enjoy great experiences and keep unwanted noise at bay.
In 2023 we grew from almost 100 Loopers to over 250 people. And that’s a number we would have to keep updating every month, as we are planning to double the team once again, this year.

Our headquarters are based in Antwerp, but with hubs in Amsterdam, Shanghai, and New York, we’re dotted all over the globe.

Not to brag about it, but we’ve recently won the EY Scale up of the year award, the Deloitte Fast50 award (for the second year in a row) and a couple of other amazing (international) prices. The New York Times named us ’best earplugs for concerts’ and thousands of noise-sensitive customers call us a ’life changer’.

About the role:

As we embark on a transformative journey with the implementation of SAP S/4 HANA in 2024, our team faces the exciting challenge of evolving our IT infrastructure to support our growing ambitions. In this pivotal phase, we are seeking an Integration Engineer who is not just technically proficient but also passionately driven to join our Tech team. Your role will be crucial in developing and maintaining interfaces that enhance and streamline our business processes.

This position is more than just technical expertise; it’s about understanding and aligning with our business goals, integrating diverse technologies, and driving continuous improvement. While experience with SAP Integration Suite is a plus, your core strengths will lie in a strong technical background, experience in various integration techniques, and a commitment to adopting and mastering new technologies.

In your role, you’ll collaborate closely with SAP partners to develop interfaces, becoming increasingly independent in gathering requirements and developing integration flows. Your journey will evolve from initial implementation to taking on the responsibility of maintaining and coordinating the development of future integration requirements. This role is a unique opportunity to shape the technological backbone of our business, ensuring scalability and efficiency as we continue to grow and innovate.

What you’ll do:

  • You’ll develop and implement integration solutions using the SAP Integration Suite.
  • You’ll work closely with our Operations and Finance teams to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • You will conduct testing and validation of integration processes.
  • You’ll help out in connecting SAP with our data warehouse and analytical tools.
  • You’ll monitor and troubleshoot integration issues, providing timely resolutions.
  • You will build and coordinate the roadmap for future integration needs.
  • You’ll stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and integration trends, suggesting improvements where necessary.

How you’ll do it:

  • You have at least 5 years of experience building integrations and data pipelines.
  • You understand basic principles of different integration techniques and formats (REST API, JSON, EDI, XML, FTP, …).
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You are willing to learn or have basic programming skills (Java, Python, ABAP, …)
  • Questioning input and opinions is key. You dare to challenge stakeholders.
  • You have excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • You’ll need to work in our Antwerp office on a regular basis.
