Summary

We are looking for an HR professional to help meet our aggressive growth ambitions through exceptional talent acquisition, development and retention. We expect you to challenge and support us in developing our mission, organization, culture, and business.

Responsibilities

You are a key strategic partner of our management team who helps shape our staffing, culture and meet our business goals. You initiate, execute and monitor from A to Z:

  • Talentacquisition: identify and address strategic in-house staffing needs; drive diversity; locate and tap into best talent pools globally; identify and collaborate with the most effective recruiters worldwide; ensure efficient onboarding;
  • Talentdevelopment: define and drive performance management processes; establish internal career development tracks and organize the coaching of team members along them; identify and address training and development needs; assist and coach people managers; be our change management expert;
  • Talentretention: create an engaging and supportive working environment both in the office and remotely; develop compensation policies including salary benchmarking, stock option programs and employee benefits; be our employee champion and trusted employee confidant;
  • HRadministrative processes: be our administrative expert including payroll, tax, social security, external and government relations, legal; drive identification and implementation of relevant HR software applications.

Requirements

The successful candidate is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in high-tech business.

Following requirements are a must:

  • More than 15 years of experience in all key HR aspects, also in fast-growing tech businesses;
  • Clear vision on HR strategy and requirements yet flexible mindset in aligning priorities with available resources;
  • Proven capability to grow teams quickly without compromising on quality of hires;
  • Thorough knowledge of tax and legal aspects in Belgium;
  • Strong motivation to join a startup team, e.g. hands-on, there is no one behind you to pick up falling balls.

Following qualifications will make you stand out:

  • Combine strong strategic thinking, tactical effectiveness, and operational efficiency
  • Experience supporting large engineering teams;
  • Experience scaling a Belgium-based startup to international presence, including connections to local expertise worldwide;

city of Leuven, Belgium. We design chip and antenna technology for next-generation

wireless systems in fixed internet access, VR/AR and ultra-high capacity links.
