About The Role

We’re thrilled to announce the opening for a Strategy & Operations Associate in PE position to deep dive into the complex business challenges of our portfolio companies. You’ll collaborate with the Managers and Key Personnel of our portfolio companies to identify (digital) growth opportunities and translate them into tailor-made solutions.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Collaborating with and supporting our portfolio companies in their day-to-day challenges.
  • Analyze the performance of the portfolio companies and offer well-structured, and potentially out-of-the box solutions for improvement.
  • Implementing tailor-made solutions related to digitalization, stock management, supply chain efficiency, etc. under guidance of the Companions management team.
  • Engaging with various stakeholders within our portfolio companies to ensure the successful implementation of solutions.
  • Creating synergies and sharing & developing best practices across our portfolio companies.
  • Driving operational excellence through process improvement initiatives and lean methodology implementation within the portfolio companies.
  • Promoting lean practices to streamline operations and drive efficiency gains across portfolio companies.

You are the perfect fit if you…

  • Hold a master’s degree in civil-, industrial-, business-, bioscience engineering, or a relatable field;
  • Have an excellent academic track record;
  • Possess 2-4 years of experience in operations (production, supply chain, ...), or a similar role.
  • Are results-driven and motivated to go the extra mile;
  • Seek a steep career path, with the opportunity to grow into a C-executive role;
  • Want to achieve maximum impact and are hands-on;
  • Possess an analytical mind, work in a structured approach, and have the flexibility to quickly adapt;
  • Get energized from solving complex problems and learning continuously;
  • Are an out-of-the-box thinker, are bold and dare to disagree;
  • Have a passion for winning and are convinced that winning is nicer as a team;
  • Are fluent in both spoken and written Dutch and English, French is a plus.
