Our mission

We are seeking top-tier managers and (aspiring) entrepreneurs who resonate with our mission and want to acquire a medium-sized company (EBITDA up to €2.5M). For our next investment opportunity, situated in concrete restorations and other specialized renovation works, we are seeking a dedicated buy-in CEO with a passion for engineering, construction and/or renovation and an eagerness to thrive.

Responsibilities

The journey of a buy-in CEO includes:

  • Shaping, evaluating and driving the company’s vision and strategic growth opportunities.
  • Taking on the daily management of the company.Driving growth through marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Optimizing product and service offerings and improve brand positioning
  • Identifying, managing and implementing impactful operational improvements, through automation, digitalization and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Identify, assess and manage the integration of strategic expansion targets to acquire.
  • Providing regular reports to the Companions team regarding the company’s performance and vision, while seeking support when necessary.

Requirements

  • Passion for engineering, construction and/or renovation
  • Strong analytical capabilities and ability to make informed, strategic decisions
  • Demonstrated organization and leadership excellence Master’s degree, preferably in civil engineering or chemistry.
  • Entrepreneurial drive: a passion for achieving success and driving business growth.
  • Long-term commitment: motivated to be part of a long-term project, with clear exit opportunities.
  • Financial commitment: willingness to co-invest.
