As (Sr.) Manager Supply Chain Planning, you join our team of highly experienced supply chain consultants and advise our clients with their most challenging questions. You use your knowledge and experience to transform or optimize our local as well as international clients’ supply chain planning/S&OP activities and processes into a source of competitive advantage.

You aspire to become a leader in our firm, not only looking after successful project delivery but as well creating eminence in the marketplace and driving business development as a topic or industry/sector representative.

Examples of projects are:

• Strategic Supply Chain Planning diagnostics to define a vision, a business case and an improvement roadmap for the next 0,5 to 5 years
• End-to-end (technology-enabled) Supply Chain Planning transformations, covering all phases from visioning and business requirements definition, tool selection, process, organization and technology solution design, and all aspects of implementation
• Supply Network Planning study highlighting improvements and recommendations in order to best leverage the distribution network while decreasing working capital investment and increasing service levels
• Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) assessment and / or implementation, focusing on defining the right process, governance and supporting systems, and working with senior client leaders from various functional departments
• Demand planning and forecasting improvement initiatives, including statistical forecasting and advanced machine learning enabled analytics as accelerators
• (Multi-echelon) inventory optimization studies and target calculations
• Production Planning and Scheduling assessments, defining and implementing concrete improvement opportunities.
  
  

In your role, you will:

• Manage and deliver large, complex client engagements in all its facets and program phases
• Ensure buy-in from client top management, and manage senior client and partner stakeholders to ensure project success
• Develop and maintain contact with senior decision makers at key clients, organize and lead pursuit teams, participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process
• Develop innovative solutions and transformation methodologies, develop "thought ware" and "point-of-view" documents, public speaking and publication in industry periodicals
• As a Supply Chain Planning expert and people-minded person, you are keen to share your passion, knowledge and insights with your team and coach junior colleagues to support them in their professional careers.
  
  

Let’s Talk About You

• Passionate about Supply Chain Planning/S&OP in a global context with a proven track record of helping clients in this domain
• Entrepreneurial mindset, keen to continuously being on the look-out for the consulting value propositions of the future
• Proven experience in leading Supply Chain Planning engagements for clients as part of a high-talent team
• An adept in identifying state-of-the art, innovative and practical ideas & solutions, guiding a team to articulate and realize them under challenging deadlines in a global context with diverse and senior stakeholders
• Established leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Business user or implementation experience with a Supply Chain Planning tool (APS – Advanced Planning System, e.g. OMP, O9, Anaplan, SAP APO, IBP on HANA, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, etc.)
• Experience in building, mentoring and coaching a team of highly talented and motivated supply chain planning consultants
• Experience in Life Science, Chemicals, Manufacturing or Consumer Products & Retail industry is a plus
• A Master’s degree in Business/Civil Engineering or Economics and at least 7 years of consulting experience or relevant industry experience
• Having an APICS or other Supply Chain / Operations certificate is a plus
• Fluent in English, any other European language is a strong asset, in particular Dutch and/or French
• You are eager to work in an international environment, and willing to travel on an ad-hoc basis
