For our outstanding development team, we are looking for an System Administrator to help improve our current way of working. As our customer base grows, automation and efficiency are becoming more important. The SA will be responsible for the uptime, upkeep and configuration of our infrastructure. Another important part of the job is to support our developers by continuing to build on the developer environment. Are you motivated to go the extra mile in ensuring the future of our company as the fastest growing InsurTech in Belgium?

Your future

  • You’ll continue to build on the developer environment, where the developers should be able to spin up his own vm’s, lambda’s, s3 in a controller environment.
  • You ensure a smaller feedback cycle, for the developers, from code to production.
  • You ensure that the impact of problems is as small as possible by coding the changes in the infrastructure in such a way that they are reproducible.
  • You communicate with the CIO, the System Administrator and the developers about possible improvements.
  • You’ll work in a young and dynamic work environment, where belonging and team activities are also very important.

Your potential

  • You have a background in IT.
  • You are experienced with Docker & Kubernetes.
  • Working with Linux SA and Shell Scripting is nothing new for you.
  • You have basic knowledge of programming (Python/GoLang), and are familiar with Terraform & Ansible (IaC)
  • You are eager to learn and like to be challenged.
  • You like to take initiative and work independently.
  • When you’re in the flow, you don’t mind working overtime.
