Location : EU country

Working model : Far site in EU country (20%) - 80 % ( travel in EU)

Main Functions:

He/she will be responsible to:
  • Install, configure, and maintain VMware vSphere and RHEL infrastructure components, using automation where possible
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts (using Ansible/Python)
  • Acknowledge, troubleshoot and resolve tickets (Incidents, Problems and Changes) in a correct way
  • Coordinate and escalate incidents internally or to 3rd party partners when required
  • Contribute to the design of vSphere and RedHat Enterprise Linux solutions
  • Maintains the relevant documents/manuals describing the infrastructure
  • Participate, on a punctual basis, on specific projects related to his/her specialty
  • Provides input for Incidents/Problems/Defects post closure analysis to the Incident/Problem Manager and/or the Technical Team Leader

Key requirements:
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in operating medium- to large-scale vSphere and RHEL environments
  • Relevant practical experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux 8 and VMware vSphere 7
  • Proficient in Ansible and Python in the context of infrastructure automation
  • Proficient in Bash and Git
  • Some practical experience with ProLiant hardware
  • Working knowledge of networking (TCP/IP)
  • Some practical experience in configuring routers and switches
  • Working knowledge of ITIL V3 processes

Other requirements:
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience with public sector clients is a plus

Working Conditions:
  • Work shifts of 8 hours covering the time range between 08h30 and 18h30 from Monday to Friday with some flexibility required when overtime is exceptionally needed
  • 80% travel to deployment sites across Europe
