About this opportunity

We are looking for a Reporting Developer who can work with multiple tools in order to automate project reports. The main task of this profile will be to collect the different data (from different tools or follow up excel files) and develop the needed specification template and automation required to create the needed reports according to project expectations. Examples of reporting will be: Deployment status, KPI follow up, Delivery Delays, and Statistical Data. Setup an E2E tracking of hardware from ordering until invoicing.

Lead, coordinate and support technical topics, commercial commitments, and solutions for a designated part of the rollout area. The Implementation manager should supervise and plan to secure an efficient end to end SWAP of Site (from Acquisition follow up, to Accepted sites going through Build and Integration). In this role it is also expected to ensure work is completed within the project requirements.


What you will do

  • Understand the end-to-end deployment flow, with different steps and achievements, as well as the dependencies between steps
  • Able to understand, adapt and work with different database tools and excel files
  • Set the main data source to establish the tracking. Knowledge of the hardware is required to understand the main data source.
  • Participate in HW/SW tracking SL Build Tools evaluation looking to our project needs and provide recommendation on implementation setup targeting reporting need.
  • Set up sanity checks on data inconsistency.
  • Supervise the status of the hardware and sanity check throughout the life cycle.
  • Organize, analyze, and present data in a clear and correct form
  • Automate procedures for data extraction from the GUI of various tools
  • Develop tools to automate the needed reports according to the different data inputs received
  • Update necessary tools with the needed information
  • Provide a crucial analytical point of view of different identified trends coming from the received information. Knowledge of the hardware is key for the analytics to be performed.
  • Build / design new reports based on new report requests. Provide different kind of reporting on a daily, weekly or monthly pace according to project expectations. View on thresholds and warning lights.
  • Evaluate the effort needed for building specific reports
  • Handle existing reports and reporting portal
  • Explain how this reporting is generated and identify weak points in the process
  • Alert if missing information is not being updated frequently
  • Interface between project and tools set provide and drive the request. Have a pragmatic approach on needs versus existing tools from region.

You will bring

  • Education: Academic degree, minimum on bachelor level, in engineering (IT, Telecom or software development) or University graduate (Computer Science, Cybernetics or similar)
  • Fluent English in speaking, reading, and writing. French and Flemish is a plus
  • Previous experience on a similar Reporting job, 3-4 years’ experience in telecom projects
  • Solid grasp of Excel and macro’s required experience.
  • Product knowledge is key to perform the data analysis and data set.
  • VBA or Python programming skills (to handle / develop custom reports) is an asset
  • Good skills of SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Server
  • Good command of Tableau interactive visualization (for running / developing reports and dashboards)
  • Knowledge of Business Objects and can handle a lot of data files and information simultaneously
  • Analytical predisposition, can understand different flow and data and identify trends
  • Good skills in presenting & communicating information
  • Coping with pressures and setbacks. Dedicated and motivated to propose process improvements
  • Full drive and a collaborative approach: “You don’t win unless the team wins”
