We are looking for an experienced VP of Engineering to help structure the strategic direction of the company in line with the CTO and CEO. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in SAAS, leading development Teams, and scaling up a start-up venture.

Client Details

Our Client is a digital health company focused on providing regulatory compliant cloud infrastructure and GDPR safe data storage. This company is an accelerator for the development of leading medical software.

Your Responsibilities

Description
  • Build a high performing and efficient software engineering team - Create a hiring plan that scales the team with the growth of the business
  • Lead technology teams in day-to-day operations, provide expertise, supervise the heads of departments, and set performance goals
  • Implement engineering best practices to optimize development cycles as well as increase predictability and product quality.
  • Directly report to the senior management team, guiding strategic decisions, product planning, and resource allocation
  • Manage budgets, deadlines, and planning and associated resources at the disposal of the development team
  • Recommend organizational developments and improve efficiency.
Profiles

The Ideal Candidate Has The Following Characteristics
  • You are a natural leader and have great communication skills
  • You have 12 years experience in software engineering and automation with a minimum of 5 years managing teams and at least 3 years working on Cloud-based technologies and SaaS
  • Proven experience mentoring and growing a high energy team of technical analyst, developers, and automation engineers
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical issues
  • Experience in transforming a SAAS start-up into a scale-up is a strong plus
