Mission
  • Strategic Business Development for the Wholesale department at Telenet / Telenet Group
  • Take E2E business responsibility for Telenet’s Strategic Wholesale partnerships (MVNO’s)
  • Identify new customer opportunities, screen their business potential and assess the technical feasibility
  • Present the strategic relevance of business opportunities towards the senior management of Telenet (up to CFO) supported by a business case. This is done together with all relevant stakeholders within Telenet (eg. Finance, Legal, Engineering, IT, Strategy)
  • Initiate and support the implementation of new agreements with the strategic partners. Stakeholder management with all relevant parties within Telenet (eg. Operations, Engineering, IT, Legal, ..) in order to get the necessary resources and budget to start the projects for these new and non-standard new services to be offered to the partners. Also support the implementation of new technical capabilities to further develop the business.
  • Actively support the contract negotiations with partners
  • Acts as the relationship manager and prime business contact for Telenet /Telenet Group Wholesale Key accounts
  • Be the voice of the partners within Telenet/Telenet Group
  • Support forecast, budget the activity and follow up performance of commercial Wholesale partners
  • Advise “Wholesale, IC & Roaming” department management & “Finance, Strategy & Wholesale” division management on Wholesale strategy & tactics
Profile
  • You’re a team player who’s good at inter-company collaboration
  • A strong and positive communicator, customer-oriented and diplomatic. At the same time you are inquisitive, don’t leave things open, and go for the most suitable process to grow the business.
  • Technical knowledge of the Telenet network and IT architecture and the Telenet Wholesale platform architecture is a must
  • Next to a good knowledge of the Telecom and Wholesale market, a strong affinity with Wholesale legislation, regulations and contracts is strongly recommended
  • You can adequately judge problem situations and opportunities, recognize priorities and act accordingly in a flexible manner. In doing so you can balance and oppose internal/external objectives.
  • Ability to extend your internal and external networks and to talk and confer on technical and business related matters.
  • You have a Master’s degree, preferably in economics, or equivalent through experience. An MBA degree is an additional benefit.
  • A minimum of 5 years or more in partnership management or account management, preferably in the telecoms industry
