About The JobBased in Mons, Belgium you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour.The NATO Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) is responsible for planning and executing all lifecycle management activities for cyber security. In executing this responsibility, NCSC provides specialist cyber security-related services covering the spectrum of scientific, technical, acquisition, operations, maintenance, and sustainment support, throughout the lifecycle of NATO Communications and Information Systems (CIS).The Infrastructure (INFRA) Branch delivers a suite of enabling services in the specific areas of Cryptography, Identity Management, Technical Services (supporting CS Operations) and CIS Protection. These services include integration and validation of NATOs crypto solutions, lifecycle management of cryptographic equipment and keys, operation and logistic support for NATO-wide online and offline cryptographic equipment, identity management services, gateway services, specialized enterprise-wide CS infrastructure (including NCSC elements), applications, implementation, configuration and management of NATO Enterprise-wide endpoint security software.You will perform scheduled checks of the NCSC enterprise Windows environments, including health checks and auditing of system logs as needed to ensure the performance and availability and configure and manage WSUS/SCCM/MECM server and servers for Microsoft server patching.You will also review, test and install appropriate firmware, security patches and upgrades for all windows-based operating systems, provide remediation plans for the testing and implementation of third party firmware and security patches on infrastructure servers and provide technical support to the platform and infrastructure services to resolve end user issues, including technical support for server OS-based issues.For a full list of duties, please review the job description here.About YouWe are looking for a talented and knowledgeable Windows Infrastructure Technician with a higher vocational training in a relevant discipline and 3 years of post-related experience.A different qualification coupled with particularly relevant experience may also be considered.You Should Also Have

• Web server configuration and management
• Direct experience with 2012, 2016 and 2019 Windows operating environments
• Backup and restore related technology experience
• Ability to quickly troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve all aspects of network, production and software issues onsite or remotely
• Thorough understanding and experience working with Microsoft Active Directory and creation and support or group policies
• Knowledge of application servers
• Knowledge of capacity management
• Good understanding of security issues surrounding server OS and applications
• Experience virtual technologies and management of VMware ESX
• Experience working with EMC SAN or equivalent
• Understanding of infrastructure concepts related to Hosting, Networks, IP address Management, firewalls, certificates, Load balancing and Proxy
• Strong understanding on internet protocols including HTTP, SSL, TCP, IP
