DepartmentThe unit Software engineering is part of the department ’Engineering Bus & Car’. We are responsible for the research, development and testing of electric and electronic components in city buses and coaches.
Within the unit, you will be the expert in diagnostics for the vehicle.
Job description
• You will manage the DTC’s and UDS services for all systems in the vehicle.
• You will work with all system owners to define the required diagnostics for different use cases: engineering, production, aftersales
• You will work with aftersales to improve the maintainability of the vehicles by means of efficient fault tracing.
• You will be working in Agile/SCRUM teams following the V-model
We are expecting from you:
• Master or Bachelor degree in an Electronics/automotive related education or equivalent through experience
• Proven knowledge of automotive software, electronics and networks (mostly CAN)
• Proven experience with diagnostics tools (Vector, Texa,…) and their usage in the market
• Thorough knowledge and proven experience of standards such as UDS (DTC) / J1939 (DM1-4)
• Good communication skills and a solution driven approach are essential as you will be working with different departments.
• Able to estimate, prioritize and organize tasks independently
• Able to communicate fluently in English (writing, speaking, understanding)
