Within our Risk Advisory practice in ourLiège-office we are currently looking for a Director Finance and Operations Liège to further deliver our value in the Walloon market.

As a Director in the team you are in charge of developing and maintaining our services in the Walloon market and delivering projects together with your team.

  • Meet clients or targets, explain our positioning and our values, make an impact
  • Actively contribute to the development of a team, service and solution offerings. This includes taking people management and business development decisions.
  • Implement a holistic, proactive approach to manage processes, risk and controls, and hereupon-based, help design and implement change in the organization to address key issues
  • Analyze, improve the effectiveness and efficiency, rationalize, optimize or (re)design core corporate and operational processes and systems, and come up with action plans to bring or keep the business in control
  • Increase visibility, enhance the decision making process, help our clients get a view of key business sensitivities and their impact, and support strategic decisions
  • Deliver exceptional client service, maximize results and drive high performance from people while fostering collaboration across businesses and borders
  • Influence clients, teams and individuals positively, leading by example and establishing confident relationships with increasingly senior people

Let’s Talk About You
  • Master’s degree in economics or engineering or equally by experience
  • Strong financial background and 12 to 15 years of experience in at least one of the following areas:
    • Business Process (Risk) Management - Design/Reengineering
    • Risk Management
    • Internal Control optimization
    • Internal Audit
  • Experience in consultancy, project management and business development are mandatory.
  • Genuine curiosity for understanding how organizations operate (business processes), challenge the status-quo, and have a critical mindset
  • Hands-on, results-oriented and quality-driven with outstanding analytical skills
  • Ability to influence clients, teams, and individuals positively, you lead by example and establish confident relationships with increasingly senior people
  • True team player, and can also work independently
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Certifications like CIA, CISA, Prince2 or PMP are a plus
