Title and Summary
Director, Product Development and Innovation
Mastercard’s Cyber and Intelligence (C&I) organization develops and delivers world-class security products and services for customers across the globe.
The C&I team was established with the responsibility to safeguard all aspects of safety and security in payments and have made great strides with new products, services, and standards, positively impacting all aspects of our current and future payment eco-system.

The Product Development and Innovation Director supporting Safety Net, Policy Manager, and new network level monitoring and fraud solutions will focus on product management and support activities associated with all aspects of the Product Management Excellence (PME) model and acts as a business owner and manages long-term and short-term strategic initiatives for a commercialized product. The position requires collaboration with geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams to ensure the effective design, development, and timely delivery of Cyber and Intelligence products.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage strategic initiatives for the security and decision products business unit as a product owner
  • Develop rule strategies proactively in partnership with internal teams
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify efficient solutions, resolve issues, and develop product features
  • Translate product requirements into technical specifications and work with technical developers
  • Analyze service trends and usage statistics to enhance rule strategy and track product performance
  • Gather statistics and provide reporting on strategy performance for management review
  • Monitor and evaluate product performance and develop new methods and processes to improve efficiency
  • Advise the product team on customer feedback and concerns to meet customer needs
  • Understand global fraud patterns and develop solutions to combat fraud

  • Working knowledge and understanding of digital environment, key trends and Mastercard’s digital strategy and digital solutions

  • Demonstrated leadership in taking accountability and acting with a sense of urgency
