Description of the task:
  • Looking for an experienced security professional to support the security team as a consultant.
  • The activities include requirements analysis, security risk assessment and the recommendation of appropriate controls, review of architecture designs, as well as ensuring building adequate security safeguards during the planning and implementation of supporting operational processes.
  • The work is performed in close collaboration with the Customer’s security officers, business stakeholders, solution and infrastructure architects, developers, DevOps teams, as well as teams responsible for operations.
Experience in the aviation and Air Traffic Management domain is desirable but is not a prerequisite. Knowledge of mission critical systems is a significant advantage.

Must have Skills (Demonstrable experience required):
  • A minimum of10 years of security experience covering multiple domains, including architecture planning, identity and access management, vulnerability management, security operations, security monitoring, security automation, risk management.
  • University degree, preferably with a specialization in information systems security or computer science.
  • Security certification (CISSP, CISM, CISA, CompTIA Security+ or similar)
  • Experience in complex transformation programs/projects
  • Technical experience: hands-on knowledge of a broad range of enterprise technologies, tools and systems
  • Working knowledge of cloud technologies and hybrid architectures (MS Azure and Microsoft security tools required, other cloud technologies an advantage)
  • Operational experience, with a clear understanding of the needs and challenges of operating a mission critical system
  • Ability to work in a multinational and multicultural environment
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices including the ISO/IEC 27000 series and the CIS controls
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills, both in speech and writing
  • Analytical thinking: applying a systematic approach to complex information (including gathering information and evaluation of product and technical data from various sources to document new features)
  • Result focus: understanding team objectives and proactively moving toward shared goals
  • Team player and mentor: being able to work with various teams beyond the security community
  • Understanding of business requirements and the role of security as a business enabler
  • Being able to manage ambiguity: formulating assumptions to move forward even with limited input, but also knowing how to elicit information to validate those assumptions and when to ask questions
  • Professional conduct in line with the corporate behaviors of the Customer, i.e., result-driven, readiness to change, customer focus, integrity, and team-player approach
  • Proficiency in English (oral/written)
Desirable:
  • Practical DevSecOps experience
  • Hands on experience/certification or equivalent of the ATM domain
  • Experience with collaboration, ITSM and development support tools including the Atlassian stack, ServiceNow and Jenkins.
