An international company active in the steel industry and based in La Louvière is looking for an Electrical Engineer.

It is a modern and fast-moving company with a global scope.

In this position as Electrical Engineer, some of your responsibilities will include:
  • Manage the relations with subcontractors (preparation, supervision, monitoring, final acceptance).
  • Plan and follow-up curative and preventive maintenance of the equipment and assess and validate the costs.
  • Propose improvements in terms of technical solutions.
  • Plan and manage day shifts and participate in staff training.
  • Be in charge of the technical side of procurement (contact with the Purchasing Department, price requests, bid analysis, supplier consultation, etc.).
About You
  • You have a master’s degree in either Civil or Industrial engineering with a focus on electrical and/or energy.
  • You have minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • You have knowledge of FMECA analysis techniques, FTA, Ishikawa, etc.
  • You know how to read electrical plans and P&ID.
  • You are fluent in French and English.
