Your Profile

Your Profile
  • You are fluent in English (TME business language)
  • You have a master/PhD degree in electrochemistry, or equivalent specialization by experience (a must)
  • You have experience in material synthesis, analysis and testing
  • You have good knowledge/experience of Fuel cell technologies (an asset)
  • You know the basics of machine learning (an asset)
  • Open personality and flexible team player
  • Owner of a driving license

Team/division Description

Your team and your responsibilities
  • Material Engineering division (MED) widely contributes to Toyota development activities from fundamental research to vehicle development projects.
  • Material Engineering 2 department in MED is responsible for advanced material research for carbon neutrality, hydrogen economy and new clean mobility.
Your Responsibilities
  • Promote research theme by performing synthesis, characterization and evaluation of novel materials
  • Manage projects with collaborators (EU companies, institutes and universities)
Fields/application are as below;
  • Photo electrochemical water splitting for H2 generation
  • Polymer Electrolyte Membrane -based electrolyser for H2 generation
  • Membrane electrode assembly (MEA) material research for future Fuel cell electric vehicles
  • Digital approach research (machine learning)
