This company provides a wide range of consultancy services to clients from various sectors: pharmaceutical, chemistry, steel and many more.

After having experienced a strong growth in the last years, they are looking to solidify their financial department. They are thus looking for an experienced accountant who will join a small team of 2 people, working directly with the group’s Finance Manager.

This job is currently located in Mechelen. The company will move to Vilvoorde in a few months.

Senior Accountant – The job

  • Encoding various documents (purchase & sales invoices, bank statements)
  • Monthly VAT returns
  • Execute payments to suppliers
  • Preparation of the month-end accounting closing
  • Preparation of the yearly annual statements, along with the Finance Manager
  • Various administrative tasks
  • Point of contact for the tax administration, auditors, banks, insurance companies..

Senior Accountant – About You

  • You have at least 3 years of experience as an external or in-house accountant
  • You have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or in a similar subject (Business studies, management..)
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English. Good skills in French are a plus, but not required!

Senior Accountant – The Offer

The company offers a very competitive salary package:

  • A salary between 3200€ & 5000€, depending on your experience
