Join our team and play a crucial role in transactional finance operations within Goodman Central Europe (CE).

In the role of Accounts Receivable Officer and Projects Support, you will be part of the CE Shared Service Centre, primarily responsible for managing the end-to-end Accounts Receivable process. Additionally, you will provide back-up support for Accounts Payable. On top, you will get the opportunity to actively contribute to various finance projects.

More concretely, this means you will get the opportunity to:

Manage Accounts Receivable

  • Raise all intercompany and related party sales invoices and follow-up on settlement
  • Manage the approval process related to the intercompany and related party invoices
  • Ensure the efficient, timely and correct accounting booking of the sales invoices into the accounting system (Unit4 Financials)
  • Ensure the correct VAT application of the sales invoices
  • Send the issued sales invoices to the different legal entities for filing
  • File monthly sales invoices
  • Interact with different internal stakeholders such as business teams across Continental Europe, Shared Services, Finance and others

Support Accounts Payable (backup)

  • Perform checks regarding correct coding on purchase invoices (e.g. VAT code, currency, legal entity…)
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and contracts
  • Transfer document from P2P to the finance program
  • Investigate the failed transfer documents
  • Book the expenses
  • Update the approval flow within the P2P system
  • Interact with different internal stakeholders such as business teams across Continental Europe, Shared Services, Finance and others

Assist In Finance Projects

  • Collaborate on key finance projects such as process improvements, system upgrades and reporting enhancements.
  • Assist in financial analysis, data gathering and report preparation for ongoing and ad hoc initiatives
  • Provide support during audits and other compliance-related activities

Do you recognize yourself?

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Economics and 2-3 years of relevant finance experience
  • You are fluent in English
  • You have the ability to communicate and engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • You have an eye for detail and are deadline driven
  • You are a true multitasker with adequate organisational skills
  • You are customer service minded
  • You have a natural willingness to learn and to grow
  • You have a passion for finance and a desire to combine operational accounting responsibilities with assisting in finance projects to improve current processes and prepare for the future.
