Four our customer, one of the market leaders in production and sales of Polypropylene compounds (APP & IPP)for application in modified bitumen roofing and recycled PP-streamsfor use in various injection molding and extrusion applications; we are looking for a Business Development Manager to develop and expand further the recycled plastics business with customers & suppliers.
The Role

TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES
- Develop and expand further the recycled plastics business (recycled PP-streams)with customers & suppliers. You’ll manage existing customers and acquire new customers over time.
- Gain a deep understanding of the company’s products, processes, and customers.
- Conduct autonomous prospect visits and manage your own schedule, over time.
- Translate market and customer requirements into product solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with R&D, procurement, and sales teams (outside) and production, labor, R&D and sales (inside).
- Work independently while maintaining alignment and interaction with the team.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Manage sales cycles from A-Z.
The Profile

- You hold a master degree (Chemical or Economical education).
- Experience (5 to 10 years) in the recycled plastics industry (PP, LDPE, HDPE, ABS base) is an absolute prerequisite.
- You have a strong technical understanding of customer needs and the ability to speak their language.
- You have excellent communication skills in English and Dutch; proficiency in French is a plus.
- You are able to work autonomously and manage your own agenda.
- You have a pragmatic approach and show a positive mindset.
- You always prioritizes quality and long-term relationships.
- You are flexible to travel abroad (France, Germany, Italy) frequently and 1X/ week to Tessenderlo.
