We are looking for a Cloud Solutions Architect to join our services department here at Insight.

You will be responsible for leading cultural change for Cloud adoption, developing and coordinating Cloud architecture, further developing the Cloud strategy, and coordinating the adaptation process. You will ensure that critical applications are designed and optimized for high availability and disaster recovery.

This role is widely regarded as a ’subject matter expert’ and ’technology professional’ throughout their field, promoting value-added solutions through thought leadership and demonstration of deep technical knowledge.

As a Cloud Solutions Architect your top 5 Responsibilities are:

• Drive scope definition, requirements analysis, functional and technical design, application build, product configuration, unit testing, and production deployment.
• Ensure delivered solutions are realized in time frame committed; work in conjunction with project sponsors to size and manage scope and risk.
• Provide support and technical governance, expertise related to cloud architectures, deployment, and operations.
• Develop sound business relationships with clients to deeply understand their requirements and integrate Insight’s solution offerings to deliver the best possible solution and utmost client satisfaction.
• Actively participate in thought leadership content creation including blog articles and contributing to publications, training materials, and attending vendor events and public presentations and workshops to distinguish Insight’s services and solutions offerings and USP’s.

Experience and Skills:

• Demonstrates previous experience working on the end-to-end creation of IT Cloud architectural solutions, from design to testing and delivery.
• Ability to provide effective leadership, build positive team spirit and inspire, motivate, and support teammates.
• Demonstrates deep technical knowledge and experience of working in one or more of Insight’s defined go-to-market (GTM) areas.
• Ability to work with clients, partners, and teammates at all levels, establishing credibility and building trusted status.
• Strong ability to gain client confidence through clear communication, presentation skills, and demonstrating a deep understanding of needs.
• Ability to make timely, sound decisions based on a mixture of analysis, experience, and judgment using rigorous logic to solve complex problems with appropriate solutions.
• High record in delivering and leading relevant IT technical engagements, utilizing technical knowledge with maturity and credibility.
• Ability to set objectives, develop project plans, anticipate, and adjust for problems and setbacks, effectively leverage resources, and orchestrate multiple project activities.
