Our client, a leading company in the corporate sector, is seeking an experienced Corporate Legal Manager to join their legal team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment in Hasselt, Belgium.

Job Description:

• Manage and provide legal support across multiple departments, ensuring legal compliance and risk management.

• Advise on corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions, and other business transactions.

• Review and draft corporate documents, including contracts, agreements, and policies.

• Ensure alignment with local and international laws and regulations.

• Oversee dispute resolution and manage external legal relationships.

• Stay up to date on changes in corporate law and legal trends, implementing relevant changes within the organization.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal requirements are met and advise on legal risks.

• Provide strategic legal counsel to senior management on corporate initiatives.

Your Profile:

• Master’s degree in Law (or equivalent experience).

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in corporate legal affairs, with a strong background in managing corporate governance, M&A, and business contracts.

• You possess strong analytical skills and have a problem-solving mindset.

• You have a proactive attitude and can anticipate legal challenges before they arise.

• You are detail-oriented and highly organized.

• Strong communication skills in English, Dutch, and/or French.

• You are a team player but can work independently when required.

• You are looking to contribute to the company’s success with a hands-on, results-driven approach.

• You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
