JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Data Insights & Business Planning Manager, you will lead the exploration, development, and implementation of digital innovation and data-driven solutions to enhance commercial strategy and execution. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams across global and local brand units to provide actionable insights, drive project delivery, and optimize marketing and sales effectiveness using advanced analytics.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Strategic Analytics & Insights:
  • Design and lead advanced analytics initiatives using Python, R, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS, Snowflake) to deliver actionable business insights and improve commercial decision-making. Apply machine learning and forecasting models to support data-driven strategies.
  • Project Leadership & Execution:
  • Drive the successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects across digital and traditional marketing channels. Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, monitor timelines, and ensure high-quality execution that meets defined KPIs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration:
  • Act as a strategic interface between global and local brand teams, ensuring alignment of objectives, timely communication, and consistent project delivery. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among marketing, sales, IT, and data science teams.
  • Innovation & Digital Transformation:
  • Identify and implement digital innovations that meet customer and business needs. Champion a data-first culture and agile working methodologies. Experience with tools such as Jira is beneficial.
  • Forecasting & Commercial Planning:
  • Support brand and sales teams with high-quality forecasting, strategic planning, and scenario modeling to optimize Salesforce resource allocation and enhance commercial efficiency.
  • Standardization & Best Practice Sharing:
  • Drive standardization of reporting processes across brands. Promote the adoption of consistent analytics practices, and foster knowledge sharing across country organizations.
  • Team Management & Capability Building:
  • Lead a high-performing analytics team, promoting synergy and continuous development. Identify skill gaps, define training needs, and support capability building in commercial analytics and planning.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education & Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data science, business analytics, or commercial operations.
  • Proven project management experience, preferably in a global or cross-cultural environment.
  • Experience in life sciences, healthcare, or digital marketing is a strong plus.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Proficient in Python, R, SQL; experience with data platforms such as Snowflake and cloud platforms like AWS.
  • Familiarity with machine learning, statistical modeling, and data visualization.
  • Agile project tools (e.g., Jira) and digital marketing analytics preferred.
  • Languages:
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) required. Additional languages are a plus.
