On behalf of an international organization within the dairy industry, Hero is looking for an interim Demand Planner.

About the role

As the company is recovering from some setbacks due to the natural disasters in the region, they are now in need of an interim Demand Planner to ensure demand, capacity and production are in perfect balance. In a nutshell, you are ensuring satisfied clients while taking into account operational constraints, playing a key role of interface between the sales teams and the various production sites. Your main activities, under the responsibility of the Master Planning, are as follows:

• Model sales forecasts with the help of the sales department (tools used are Futurmaster / SAP tools)

• Define volumes, trends and seasons, in line with business strategy, production capacities and inventory turnover objectives.

• Set up the relevant performance indicators, ensure their follow-up and take corrective actions in the event of deviation.

• Participate in improvement projects and lead working groups.

• Participate in the S&OP process and prepare monthly meetings with the management committee.

• Within the Planning cell, play a back-up role and participate, as a team, in tasks related to planning, in particular by carrying out alert states and ensuring daily arbitrations on the calculation of needs.

What we are looking for

  • You have a BAC + 3 or BAC + 5 diploma ideally in Management / Supply Chain or equivalent by experience.
  • Fluent language skills in French and ideally also in English
  • You demonstrate experience in forecasting sales
  • Experience within the production sectory, ideally the Food or Dairy industry

We offer a great market hourly rate, flexibility in work hours and also the opportunity to join the Hero payroll in case you do not want to work as a freelancer. You can start in Q1 2022 for 4 or 5 days per week.
