Job description

  • You will join the process development and industrialization team
  • You lead a strategic project: the realization and start-up of the industrial footprint for key-components of our new hybrid transmission in our Sint-truiden plant
  • You manage the project with respect to the project deliverables on quality, timing and costs and adhering to the procedures
  • You co-operate and coordinate with relevant internal departments such as R&D, production, quality and purchasing and with external partners (equipment supplier)
  • You strive continuously to improve your and your team’s way of working
  • You ensure clear and transparent communication toward the project team and all stakeholders
  • You lead functionally your team and report to the PD&I manager

Profile

  • You have a master degree
  • You have interest for development of production processes and equipment
  • You are a perseverant and proactive worker and are able to structure, coordinate and lead people & projects in a dynamic context
  • You are stress-resistant and have a hands-on mindset
  • You are analytical, have a strong problem solving ability, can quickly diagnose and work out suggestions for improvement
  • You are a convincing and enthusiastic team player with strong communicative skills, also in English
  • You have a strong drive to achieve your goals and the ability to work in different cultural environments
  • Experience in an automotive environment is an asset
  • You have at least 5 years of relevant (project management, automotive sector) working experience
