QUALITY CONTROL OPERATOR

THE JOB

As a Quality Control Operator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and precision in our 3D printed products. You will be responsible for meticulously inspecting, testing, and evaluating finished parts to ensure they meet our rigorous quality standards. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to excellence will be essential in maintaining our reputation for delivering best quality products to our clients and on time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform dimensional, visual, and functional checks of 3D printed parts to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection results
  • Create, check, and approve documents such as a Certificate of conformity or Inspection plan sheets to make sure that all parts are conformed.
  • Document and report any deviations or defects found during inspections, and work closely with QE team to address and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to continuously improve quality processes and procedures if needed
  • Coordinate and deliver quality production parts with high priority (personal implants)
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and quality guidelines to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

EXPERIENCE

  • Ability to work independently within the context of a collaborative team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or discrepancies in 3D printed parts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot quality issues effectively.
  • Good communication and organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in using measurement tools and equipment, such as calipers, pin and thread gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (3D scanning CMM i.e. GOM/ATOS, Keyence VL and other) is a plus
  • Prior experience in quality control or inspection in a manufacturing or 3D printing environment is a plus
  • Experience in reading and understanding of technical drawing is a plus.
  • Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Bachelor degree is a plus
  • Understanding of 5S, GDP and GMP is a plus.
  • Knowledge in ISO9001, ISO13485 and AS9100 is a plus.
  • Motivated person with passion to learn new things.
  • Good understanding of Dutch and English.
