R&D Manager Hardware Avionics

As R&D Manager Hardware Avionics in the ScioTeq R&D organization, you are motivating a team responsible for developing avionics displays and computer products installed in a broad range of aircrafts.

Your responsibilities

· Organize, coordinate and monitor the day-to-day operation of the engineering team responsible for the electronics design and reliability/safety

· Guarantee on-time in-full and in budget (OTIFIB) execution of the engineering team

· Ensure that right people, competencies and capacity in the team and guide the members

· Define, install, maintain and monitor processes and tools

· Guarantee an efficient and competitive position (process, outsourcing, ¿) of the products

· Responsible for the hardware technology roadmaps, technology selection and strategies

· Execute the budget and long-term strategic plans

· Represent R&D operation with customers, external organizations and stakeholders

Profil

· Master degree in Electronics Engineering (focus on hardware development)

· At least 10 years of experience in electronics design

· You have strong interest and knowledge in embedded high-tech electronics

· You have a passion for technology and innovation

· You already have experience in managing a technical team or at least have strong leadership skills

· You have the ability to change perspective and have a push for initiative
