St Andrew’s provides a comprehensive suite of cancer services, offering patients the medical expertise and support services expected from a centre of excellence. Our 3rd Floor Ward Nursing Team contributes to these services through the care of oncology patients as well as those who have recently undergone gynaecological, plastic or breast surgery.
About You
We are seeking applications from Registered Nurses with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Medical and Surgical Ward Nursing to join our high performing team for permanent night duty.
In Addition You Will Need To Demonstrate
- a commitment to delivering best practice patient care
- well-developed organisation and prioritisation skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- commitment to your continued professional development
- an interest in mentoring and educating our up-and-coming nursing students and graduates
- the ability to maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
- significant experience in a similar fast-paced environment
- current registration with AHPRA and the ability to legally live and work in Australia.
Hours
This position is ideally 0.4 FTE (30-33 hours/per fortnight) however we can consider other part-time and casual arrangements working night shifts rostered flexibly across a 14 day roster. Work hours will be negotiated with the successful candidate or candidates.
