Overview

Overview:

This is a field-based sales role and is responsible for driving the adoption & utilization of Bio-Rad’s portfolio of single-cell technology.

This is a specialized role within the organization and is fundamental for the growth of new and advanced technology (instruments and applications). This role is highly technical and will serve as a liaison between customers and the market development group.

As new products are released, this role will be instrumental in creating and cultivating market adoption.

This position will drive revenue and will be responsible for exceeding a territory sales quota.

Location:

  • Field based
  • Ideally located in the United Kingdom or Benelux covering an EMEA geography

Responsibilities:

  • Drive adoption of single-cell instruments and reagents.
  • Develop a business/sales strategy to achieve and exceed sales targets within a defined territory.
  • Accurately forecast quarterly instrument and reagent opportunities.
  • Create and develop technical relationships with accounts within geography.
  • Provide technical presentations on product portfolios.
  • Serve as liaison between the field and market development and product marketing.

Education :

PhD degree in Life Sciences;

MS degree in Life sciences with a combination of laboratory bench experience, field sales or market development.

Skills and previous experience:

  • Previous sales experience desired, 3-5 years minumum
  • Deep understanding of NGS, informatics, and cell biology applications.
  • Previous experience with single-cell techniques is preferred.
  • Experience with microscopy and imaging analysis is desired.
  • Ability to communicate to both technical and broad audiences.
  • Ability to build consensus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills are must.
  • Driven and self-motivated to succeed.
  • Ability to travel 50%+ as needed.
