Senior Finance Risk Analyst - Zaventem

Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for a SeniorFinance Risk Analystfor a permanent position based in Zaventem.

Our client is a fast growing company active in the retail sector.

As SeniorFinance Risk Analystyou will be responsible for:

• Identify market risks and analyze the impact on the company and Treasury Operations to create a risk awareness culture;
• Secure a good level of awareness among relevant stakeholders concerning risk in relation to performance in the Asset Management sphere;
• Report Key Risk Indicator (KRI) for the different portfolios;
• Define risk tools in relation to the investments process to secure a good risk vs. performance analysis;
• Monitor the process to secure compliance with internal steering documents and external requirements;
• Maintain the investments risk assessment template and provide training, update and feedback on how to use the template to the business (portfolio managers);
• Review the risk assessment and initiate yearly review with the business;
• Secure and report organizational adherence to steering documents;
• Identify areas for remedial action and potentials for improvement, recommending courses of action to secure continuous improvement.

The required profile for the Senior Finance Risk Analyst position:

• University degree in Finance or Economics or similar or equivalent work experience;
• Minimum 5 work experience within a similar role in a banking, corporate, fund environment or similar;
• Detailed knowledge of Risk Management concepts and tools used within Asset Management and Treasury. Experience in Risk Management systems and reporting tool used in Asset Management;
• Good knowledge of financial markets and potential impact on the activities;
• Fluent in English (written and spoken), any other language is an asset;
