Are you passionate about IT and dealing with customers at all levels? Do you have hardware/software breakfix experience? If so, then we would like to discuss your next career move!

For our client located in Diest we’re looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer, who’s willing to work in shifts and who’s able to handle and resolve level 1 & 2 issues. At the client, you will have a good desktop support experience in a corporate support desk and production environment.

What you’ll do

  • Take ownership of tickets assigned via ITSM (ServiceNow)
  • Ensure that tickets get resolved within the respective service level agreements
  • Managing incident (Hardware, Software)
  • Managing request (Hardware, Software, Access management)
  • Diagnose and try to resolve issue remotely
  • Determine the required team to resolve out of scope issues
  • (On-site maintenance, specialized technician, ...)
  • Be able to support:

Windows 10 devices (laptop, tablet, Desktop)

Windows 11 devices (laptop, tablet, Desktop)

Android and Windows warehouse scanners

Hardware peripherals (e.g. Label printers, hand scanners...)

Out of the box and custom software

  • Build devices with a TME Image
  • Execute orders and follow up service and repairs with external suppliers
  • Identify possible risks or problems and escalate to relevant manager

What you’ll need

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in On-site support
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Availability to work in shifts. The current team is rotating between following 2 shifts:

06h-14h

14h-22h

  • Flexibility to occasionally work on public holidays
  • Work on site at the client in Diest
