Thousands of employees use IT applications and data via their desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone. A percentage of these employees work on a MAC device. As a MAC system engineer, you ensure that these MAC devices work optimally and meet all expectations. An important role with an international side!
The E-Workplace Clients team is responsible for the engineering and management of all our client devices. As a system engineer you ensure that these client devices are used in a high-performance, stable and cost-conscious manner.
For operational aspects, you work closely with our IT department in India, which takes care of a large part of the day-to-day management. You also work together with the field service engineers, our service desk and system engineers from other domains (network, directory services, solution engineers, etc.).

A selection of your duties:
Initiating, defining, realizing and implementing projects, such as: migration of security solution, automation driver updates ...
Hardware lifecycle management. Determining the end of life, selection of successors and introducing them.
Configuration and management of the management tools: Intune, Azure AD, ...
Software Management: offering a packaging framework for the software packagers.
Tooling: creation of tooling, scripts for the operational services.
Monitoring and reporting on the systems you manage.
Ensure that the client environment is up to date with the latest technologies.
You work in Halle and can telecommute 2 to 3 days a week.
Profile:
Knowledge and experience – You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science (or equivalent experience) or several years of relevant experience (3 to 5 years) with Mac hardware and system engineering.
Expertise – You already have experience with macOS installations, troubleshooting, recovery and basic Unix administration. Knowledge and experience with Bash is a must. Knowledge of Python is a plus. You have good knowledge of macOS MDM provisioning such as JAMF, Intune, Apple Business Manager,… Knowledge of Xcode and code signing is definitely a plus.
Solution-oriented and dynamic – You are enthusiastic and enterprising. You quickly see the core of a problem and work in a solution-oriented way.
Team player – You enjoy working with your colleagues and always keep the end user in mind.
Flexibility – You have no problem with occasional weekend work to ensure that your projects run smoothly.
Language skills – You speak and write fluently Dutch and English and you have a basic knowledge of French. This allows you to communicate smoothly with all employees and suppliers.
