As part of its expansion, a multinational company is currently looking for a Financial Controller to support its ambitious acquisition plans. The company is active in the automotive sector in Grimbergen and invites you to become part of a dynamic team within a flat organizational structure.

As a Financial Controller, you will be central to integration and merger projects. Your duties will include:

  • Facilitate the integration of newly acquired companies, contribute to the harmonization of existing processes and reporting.
  • Play a key role in the coordination and execution of mergers, ensuring a smooth financial transition.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly closing with reporting based on US GAAP.
  • Prepare consolidated and separate financial statements in accordance with Belgian accounting standards.
  • Ensure compliance with local GAAP and US GAAP accounting standards for new acquisitions.
  • Actively participate in the migration to the next ERP system.
  • Be a key player in the integration of acquired companies into existing companies, ensuring accurate transfer of activities and balance sheet positions during mergers.

About you :

  • You have a master’s degree in finance (business administration, business economics or accounting).
  • You have at least 4 years of relevant experience in audit or in a controlling role.
  • You have a good understanding of BEGAAP.
  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • You speak English and French fluently and also have a very good knowledge of Dutch.
  • As a strong communicator, you know how to build solid relationships within a complex, international organization.
