Job Summary

Our portfolio is used in virtually every stage of the most important research, development and production activities in the industries we serve.
We are currently looking for an Analyst Supply Chain to join our business on a full time basis in Belgium.

As an Analyst Supply Chain you are responsible for providing business analytics services to business unit(s). You develop new insights and understanding of business performance based on data and statistical methods and analyze external market dynamics and other data sources to assess trends. As a result of your analysis you drive decision making within the business.
Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You p erform data analysis from a variety of sources with a strong emphasis on providing actionable insights .
  • You identify new techniques and trends related to data analysis and reporting.
  • You assist in driving innovation and experimentation to find new best practices across the supply chain.
  • You track and measure promotion s/stocking request analysis .
  • You establish key metrics to measure Supply Chain performance ; including but not limited to Supplier scorecards, Marketsource performan ce, stocking and sku profitability, etc.
  • You look after the production and distribution of daily, weekly, and monthly reports and dashboards .
  • You serve as an internal subject matter resource on the repor ting tools and metrics employed as well as a technical resource on SAP and SAP APO data sources to facilitate reporting using QlikView .
  • You investigate processes to identify areas of opportunity and then make recommendations that facilitate improvement.
  • You develop metrics, that measures existing processes with the aim of presenting this information to customers, both internal and/or external, facilitating improvements in existing processes and c reating robust processes to eliminate or dramatically reduce defects
  • Work with Coimbatore support staff and continue to build their capabilities to su pport
Your qualifications, knowledge and skills:

  • You preferably have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science / Math with 3 -4+ years of experience or an advanced degree with slightly less years of experience and/or sufficient prior VWR experience
  • Experience with SAP and other VWR systems and processes is desirable
  • Six Sigma certification or other formal problem solving skills highly desirable .
  • Extensive Knowledge of Supply Chain Management is required
  • You must have strong analytical skills including advanced use of MS Access, Excel, SQL, Qlik, PowerBI, Tableau and programming in VBA, R, Python or similar languages.
  • You have a proven track record of strong Project Management Skills, PMP certification is a plus.
  • You have demonstrated experience with Six sigma techniques for structured problem solving and process improvements
  • You are able to interact and communicate complex concepts with all levels of the organization
  • You have strong analytical abilities and multi-tasking skills
