CC BFSI (Cognizant Consulting – Banking & Financial Services and Insurance) is the consulting part of one of the largest vertical industry sectors within Cognizant. They work with tier 1 banking and insurance organizations globally and in the Benelux.

Your role as an Insurance Consultant
Cognizant’s Insurance Consulting BeNeLux unit is seeking talented consultants with extensive business analysis and consultative experience of executing large scale business change and IT solutions for General Insurance for our Belgium Insurance clients. This role provides an opportunity to join a growing, high energy and entrepreneurial team working with leading BeNeLux based Insurance clients.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge and skills
• Good understanding and experience of P&C Insurance products- Having Life Insurance knowledge would be a plus as well.
• Business Consulting skills: being able to understand IT and at the same time being able to explain and present the results to the business stakeholders.
• Performed Business Analysis/ Functional Consultant roles on complex Business & Technology Transformation Programmes, with Insurance clients; assisting them achieve their business, technology, strategic and operational goals
• Previous experience of working in a similar capacity in other Consultancy or Insurance Industry
• An appreciation for both business and technical requirements and the ability to bridge the gap between the two
• Full project life-cycle experience Business Analysis experience - with demonstrable knowledge of different project life cycles: waterfall, agile
• Ability to develop creative strategic solutions to solve our clients’ business problems,and create accompanying execution roadmaps to implement the changes.
• Has worked in a global delivery environment and with distributed teams.
• French, Dutch & English Language skills needed.
• Contribute to practice activities such as Knowledge Sharing & Management, Proposition or Solution Development
• Contribute to development of focused industry ‘points of view’ or ‘white papers.

The Person

• Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues as well as on your own.
• Excellent communicator able to deliver a concise message either verbally, or in writing to senior internal and external stakeholders.
• Creative thinker, able to quickly analyze problems and identify appropriate solutions.
• Open-minded and pragmatic, with ability to guide teams to build customized tools/ templates for the engagements.
• Flexible and enthusiastic about gaining new experiences across different clients and adapting to different, challenging environments.
• University degree; MSc degree (preferably Business Administration, (Business) Economics, Computer Science, Management of Technology or similar).
• 4-6 years’ experience in Business Analysis and/or Consulting or relevant project experience with a focus on the insurance domain.
