The embedded SW team is part of our R&D department that develops our automatic transmissions, hybrid and full electric powertrains. The team is responsible for the development of embedded software of our future products and maintenance of released products

Job description:

You will be coaching and supporting a team of software engineers.

• These engineers develop the embedded software for the controller (TCU/Inverter/…) of the company’s automatic transmissions, hybrid and full electric powertrains.
• You take care of the resource planning (forecast, allocation, staffing)
• You ensure the correct implementation and execution of the existing processes and work flows in these areas. You identify and cooperate in the elaboration of improvement opportunities of these processes.
• You build a good team of qualified people and are responsible for coaching, growth, training, evaluations and appraisals of the team members
• You co-operate with internal departments such as systems engineering, electronics, controls, project and application management
• You will be responsible for a good communication flow within and between the different teams.
• Ensures the quality of the performed efforts of your team

Profile:

• University degree in applicable field or equivalent through proven experience
• 5-7 years of experience in leading a team of more than 20 people engineers
• 2-4 years of experience in embedded (real-time) software, automotive
• Experience in recruitment of technical profiles
• Good understanding of embedded hardware/software systems
• Experience in technical supplier management for embedded software
• Thanks to your clear communication skills and good knowledge of English, you are proficient in sharing knowledge and reporting results
• Good written and spoken English
• You are a perseverant person with a goal-oriented and analytical mindset
