Communication Manager

Liquid Gas Europe now seeks an ambitious, energetic and compelling manager to take the association communication efforts to a new level. The successful candidate will report directly to General Manager and will be responsible for designing, shaping and implementation of the communication strategy and activities. The position is based in Brussels.

Key requirements:

• 5+ years of experience
• Expertise on matters related to marketing, public relations and communications
• Proficient in English (native speaker or C2 level)

Key responsibilities:

• Develop PR and external comms strategies in partnership with business leads to advance business objectives
• Coordinate the production of promotional materials including releases, media kits, and presentations
• Use social media to tell our story in creative and inspiring ways that resonate with various audiences
• Manage website content and design to ensure delivery of clear and creative content
• Responsible for providing comms expertise to other LGE teams (Technical and Advocacy).
• Responsible for development of the overall communication strategy and a strategy for each of the policy files,
• Responsible for management of social media platforms and for internal communication about the results of this work
• Coordinates communication around events & is part of the event team (comms support)

Skillset needed:

• A confident communicator and presenter
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design, professional printing/publishing skills are essential, including ability to present concepts verbally
• The ability to develop relations with partner organisations, media representatives and other external bodies.
• Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills
• Superior project management and time management skills
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude
• Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media
• Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management
