What does the role involve?

We are currently looking for a corporate legal officer for our Brussels office. We see this position as an evolving role with strong growth opportunities as you will gain experience in our organisation.

You Will Provide Corporate Legal Support On Various Projects For The Continental European (CE) Operations Of The Goodman Group And Its Managed Funds And Joint Ventures, Including

• Preparing/reviewing of (intra-group) loan arrangements and related corporate approvals;
• Preparing/reviewing of share transfer agreements and joint venture agreements and related corporate approvals;
• Preparing/reviewing of non-disclosure agreements and other corporate legal documents (e.g. letters of intent);
• Coordinating with external counsel on all of the above;
• Supporting the Corporate Legal Counsel;
• Supporting the Company Secretarial Team (supporting Goodman CE corporate governance framework; board and investor meetings; acting as secretary of the meetings, if required);
• Supporting the Compliance Team (advice/research with regards to various compliance topics, support KYC verification process; liaison with the CSSF; monitoring regulatory evolutions);
• Extending, maintaining and updating the legal templates data base.
  

Who are we looking for?

You have a master’s degree in legal, ideally combined with two years relevant legal experience (inhouse or private practice) with a strong knowledge of corporate company law and practices. You are fluent in English and you have a working level in either French, Dutch or German. Eye for detail and being accurate are a must have next to the strong interpersonal and communication skills needed to communicate within Goodman’s various offices and with our external stakeholders.

You will get more responsibilities over time and will work closely together with the other inhouse legal counsels.

You are flexible to travel to the other offices (mainly Luxembourg)
