Customer Service Representative Credit and Collection

Mission:

You address Credit and Collection issues of B2B customers with the aim of resolving the financial problem satisfaction and collecting the money.

What do you do?

  • You do the follow up for B2B Customers and Partners to unpaid invoices with the aim to get payment and limit
  • Furthermore, you collect and interpret information from all involved departments (Finance/Accountancy, Sales, Sales Support and Business support) to prepare and analyze problematic files
  • You negotiate payments and payment modalities with the customers and partners within defined guideline letters and meetings
  • You detect problems with potential high financial risks and propose solutions balancing bad debt risk under supervision of the credit and collection Team Leader
  • Of course, you prepare files for the Credit Committee and report these to the Team Leader with support of legal advisors. You treat and answer letters and emails from External Recovery Agencies and lawyers
  • You contact customers in a proactive way in order to detect bad debt risk and further analyze the case. You perform complete reconciliation (including charges, credits, payments and debts) of major accounts and can confront the customer with the correct open due outstanding balance

Your profile:

· You have at least 1 year of customer care experience and experience in the domaine of Credit and Collection is a plus

· Your speak very fluently Dutch and French, English written is a plus

· You have preferably knowledge of tools such as Salesforce, Trends and Speos

· Of course, you have a pro-active attitude, problem solving skills and can define priorities within fixed procedure
