Function description:

Key Responsibilities:

I. SAP Data Environment Transformation

- Lead the migration from UNV to UNX in SAP BO, ensuring efficient and accurate data handling throughout the transition.

- Optimize SAP BW data structures to align with the UNX framework.

- Address potential challenges arising from IT and data transformation projects to ensure uninterrupted HR analytics operations.

II. Data Sourcing and Management

- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various SAP systems, including SAP HR, SAP BW, and related Oracle and SQL-based databases.

- Implement and maintain robust data pipelines to facilitate the transformation process and ensure reliable data delivery.

- Utilize MS Access and VBA coding for advanced data integration and manipulation tasks.

- Perform rigorous validation and testing of data structures to maintain accuracy and consistency throughout the transformation of existing universes and queries.

III. Collaboration and Knowledge Transfer

- Partner with IT, HR Analytics, and business teams to ensure the transformation project aligns with organizational goals and requirements.

- Provide training and operational support to stakeholders on the UNX environment, ensuring a smooth transition and adoption.

- Act as a subject matter expert, addressing technical questions and troubleshooting issues related to the transformation. Identify potential errors and report them to the Tribe data hub.

IV. Business Requirement Gathering and Translation

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand current and future reporting needs impacted by the transformation.

- Translate business requirements into efficient data engineering solutions tailored to the UNX framework.

V. SAP Reporting and Integration Support

- Support the development and optimization of SAP BO reports in the new UNX environment.

- Ensure compatibility and integration with downstream analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI when needed.

Required experience / knowledge:

  • 6 years relevant experience

Technical experience

Mandatory:

  • SAP BW, SAP BO, UNV/UNX transformation, SAS EG, Oracle, SQL

Preferable:

  • SAP 4HANA, DAX, Python

Business Experience:

Mandatory:

  • Prior experience in banking and data analysis

Preferable:

  • Familiarity with HR data environments and HR metrics

Soft skills:

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

· Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
