DIGITAL LEARNING BUILDER

Vlerick is a school, but it is run as a company, aligned with the high standards we foster in our different programmes. We are looking for an enthusiastic and tech-savvy Learning Builder to join our Digital Studio team, embedded in the VLIC (Vlerick learning innovation centre).

The learning builder is a key role in the process of turning the initial design, programme blueprint and storyboard into an actual digital portal. In collaboration with different stakeholders across Vlerick, the learning builder will develop & continuously test the learner interface, assemble and/or create learning assets and activities, and ultimately deliver a finished learning solution to the business owner of the project.

The job

• Build learning platforms/customer interfaces (incl. overall look & feel, platform structure, webpage editing, learning paths…) based on storyboards elaborated by the learning designer and faculty.
• Support in the development of digital assets (incl. create inhouse videos or follow-up with vendors, create graphical elements, document layout ….).
• Formulate creative ideas to improve the technical design and development of learning journeys (f2f, online and blended).
• Create learning activities that enhance the learning process (audio, video, simulations, role plays, job aids, etc.).
• Be a SPOC for the relevant stakeholders with respect to the set-up and building of the learning platforms and assets.
• Document, following-up and responding to technical change requests once the learning journey is developed, to guarantee a smooth delivery of the digital learning experience.
  

You

• Have a Bachelors’ degree, preferably with a graphical design or multimedia orientation.
• Are an excellent communicator in English, both written & spoken.
• Possess a talent for organization and working accurately and are stress resistant.
• Are tech-savvy, looking forward to working digitally and want to monitor the trends in the field of online and hybrid ways of learning & development.
• Know your way around MS365 programmes and graphical design programmes. Having worked with online learning platforms before is a plus.
• Can work independently and take initiative for making improvements.
• Are a pro-active and open-minded team player.
• Want to work on our beautiful campus in Ghent, Brussels or Leuven, in combination with your home office.
