Are you ready to play a key role in transforming the omnichannel experience of our customers in the medical technology field? Medtronic seeks a Digital Marketing Specialist Patient Monitoring & Respiratory Solutions (PM&RI) to amplify our online presence and define the digital journey that best suits our customers. You will be responsible for managing campaigns from beginning to end on a local and regional level serving the PM&RI business demands of Western Europe.Medtronic PM&RI offers (healthcare) professionals working in acute care & critical care medical devices & services, VBHC programs and education to improve patient safety. For over a century, we strive for zero adverse events and contribute to patient safety and reduce healthcare costs by providing well-established brands.(100% - 7 months temporary assignment - remote) A Day in the LifeIn this position, you will:
  • Define, develop and guide the implementation and optimisation of an innovative, engaging solid digital content marketing strategy through storytelling;
  • Design with the business stakeholders the optimised digital customer journeys and related segmented communication for awareness and education;
  • Write, edit or refine high-impact digital content in an integrated, multi & omnichannel approach across all customer touchpoints;
  • Optimize & create high-quality digital collaterals with the business ’ stakeholders optimised for user engagement and education;
  • Identify and increase business opportunities by:
    • Improving SEO to revise and optimise dated content;
    • Managing digital campaigns to drive awareness and demand generation;
    • Performing Social Media Listening;
    • Writing blogs and creating vlogs/podcasts.
  • Design and execute compliant communication activities targeting healthcare professionals from strategy to execution.
  • Manage agency partners to deliver multiple projects in an efficient and timely manner
  • Measure, analyse and report on the impact and conversion of the campaigns through analytics’ dashboards.
Must Haves
  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • A t least 5 years of digital marketing and communications experience;
  • Strong project management skills;
  • Experience with web Content Management Solutions (e.g. AEM ,…) , marketing automation (e.g. Eloqua,…) , CRM (e.g. SFDC) and data dashboards;
  • Experience with Social Media Advertising (FB, LI, TW) , Google Adwords and graphic/video design ( Canva, Photoshop ....) ;
  • Excellent writing skills in English.
Nice to Haves
  • Experience in Healthcare/Medtech sector is a plus;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, technology, and/or related field of study;
  • Experience with Augmented and Virtual Reality.

This position is an exciting and new opportunity to work with Medtronic’s Patient Monitoring, Respiratory Interventions and/or MCMS businesses. Currently part of Medtronic, Medtronic has announced its intention to transition these businesses either into a new stand-alone company (currently referred to as NewCo) or merge them into the business of another company. While you will start your employment with Medtronic, upon establishment of NewCo or upon the transition of the business unit to another company, which may occur in approximately 12-15 months, your employment may transfer to one of these entities.

The business will have the same singular focus, financial commitment, deep domain expertise, and global footprint needed to accelerate the development and commercialization of affordable and scalable healthcare technologies.
