The Director Finance & Administration has the overall responsibility for all commercial processes within the company, incl. the departments
Finance & Accounting, IT, Facilities & Fleet. Furthermore, supports the successful development of the company through effective financial
steering, shows proactive business partnership with MD/SVP through financial interpretations, determination of opportunities and improvement
needs, initiation of processes as well as management /participation in change projects.
Responsibilities
Responsible for IT, Facilities, Fleet, Legal, Accounting,Insurances, Payroll, Controlling as well as Financial Planning, including the
development and expansion of the necessary processes and structures.
- Monitoring of investments made and liquidity management as well as set-up and implementation of the controlling structure as well as
budgeting and forecasting processes
- Professionalization of the IT infrastructure
- Ensuring compliance and data security in the company’s operations
- Leading projects and teams in the specialist areas
- First point of contact for tax consultants, auditors or authorities, external lawyers, … among others
- Support the Managing Director of Eurofilters NV in all financial & IT issues
- Projects & Leadership
- Leading strategy projects
- Actively involved in corporate projects (when applicable)
- Drive constant improvement of all related processes; including initiatives to automatize processes
Profile
An excellent university degree in business administration or comparable with a focus on Finance and
Accounting and/or Controlling
- Extensive years of professional experience in Finance & Accounting in a manufacturing environment,
leadership experience needed
- Strong change management skills
- Reliable knowledge of accounting under Belgian law, German Gaap knowledge desirable as well as
in-depth knowledge of the relevant consolidation measures
- Profound experience working with top management and in leading projects and change processes
- Strong analytical skills and high degree of economic thinking and acting
- Ability to lead and motivate interdisciplinary teams
- Significant experience working with auditors, tax auditors, external lawyers and other external
stakeholders
- Very good written and spoken English and Flemish or Dutch skills, German skills are a plus
Languages English Dutch; Flemish Education Postgraduate
