Description

For our site in Ghent we are looking for a driver CE for national transport.

Your job description:

  • You carry out transports at various locations (national).
  • Performing a preliminary inspection of the vehicle.
  • Checking the load safety.
  • Checking goods for damage/completeness and reacting appropriately when irregularities are observed.
  • Preparing the vehicle for loading and unloading (e.g. taking down covers, closing and/or opening them, checking twistlocks).
  • Respecting driving and rest times.
  • Carrying out all required administration.
  • Looking after the vehicle and its equipment with due diligence.
  • Loading and unloading.
  • Coupling and uncoupling the trailer.
  • Problems and obstacles are always referred back to the planning.

You may take the truck home.

Competences

  • You have experience as a CE truck driver.
  • You are in possession of a digital driver’s card and code 95.
  • You understand instructions.
  • You can work with a GPS.
  • Experience in using the Transics on-board computer system is a plus.
  • You can work with an (electric) transpallet.
  • You perform your work according to the planning and in a customer-friendly manner.
